Digital media company She Leads Africa (SLA) announced the launch of the SLAY Festival, an outdoor celebration of innovation, culture and technology with African women at the center. Scheduled for January 21, 2017 from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. at the Railway Corporation in Ebute-Metta, Lagos, the festival will feature inspiring speakers, a virtual reality lab and exhibit, a consultant’s corner for free business advice, a market with female entrepreneurs and more Again.
Some of the speakers who will share their views at SLAY Festival include: Gemstone Group CEO Fela Durotoye; Founder of the CEO of House of Tara, Tara Durotoye; Film Producer and CEO of ROK Studios, Mary Remmy Njoku; Founder of Invicta Africa, Bukky Karibi-Whyte; and The Bobby Taylor Company, Kemi Adetiba, director of films and music videos, among others.
The festival will feature fun activities throughout the day, including a Jollof rice bar, consulting corner, art exhibition, pop-up fair, and musical play. She Leads Africa is an organization that helps young women achieve their professional dreams.
