KDEM Hebrew University Launches Innovation Management Course

KDEM and Hebrew University to Collaborate to Enable Learning Modules and Strengthen Innovation and Startup Ecosystem in Karnataka

The Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM) continues to act as a catalyst for innovation with its new partnership with the Hebrew University of Israel to launch a distinctive course in Innovation Management, a program virtual training course on innovations and entrepreneurship. According to the association, KDEM and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel is organizing its first program spanning five days and comprising 10 sessions on topics such as incubation, disruptive innovation, financing, best practices, acceleration patterns, durability and technology.

The announcement comes at a time when a twelve-member delegation made up of officers from the Israel National Defense College is visiting Karnataka as part of their university program.

The program is expected to be led by experts in Fintech, business administration, venture capitalists and entrepreneurs, and economies such as Professor Yigal Newman, Professor Dan Galai, Saul Orbach, Dr Sharon Arieli and Dr Pablo Kizelsztein, among others.

Fully sponsored by the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission, the Innovation Management course will equip participants with an in-depth understanding of innovation practices in sectors such as agri-tech, fintech, aerospace, defence, electric vehicles, semiconductors, among others. Participants will also participate in various mentoring sessions and interactions to understand the gaps in the existing ecosystem and the role of clusters in building sustainable innovation ecosystems. Participants will be certified at the end of the course.
