Lecturer / Lecturer (T & R) in Logistics & Supply Chain Management
The Department of Digital Innovation and Management is seeking to appoint an outstanding Lecturer / Lecturer (T&R) in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. The transformational potential of logistics and supply chain management to improve effective and innovative approaches to benefit organizations and society is at the heart of our underlying approach.
This is an exciting opportunity to join leading international academics in the fields of digital innovation and management. The department has a very collegial ethos and has been successful in securing substantial research funding. We have a strong research culture at the intersection of digital analytics, information systems and operations management. We provide teaching and research supervision on a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
The successful candidate will be able to provide high quality education and scholarships in, but not limited to, some of the following areas: logistics and supply chain management, procurement and transportation. We welcome applicants who wish to make an impact in this emerging field through research, teaching and knowledge transfer activities.
You hold a PhD and have an established publication record of an international standard. Plus, you’ll have a track record of generating research funding with significant impact. You will have the opportunity to teach and assess subjects associated with logistics and supply chain management at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. You will have a strong commitment to providing excellent instruction and be able to work flexibly within a team in the delivery of instruction and assessment. You will have the potential to contribute to administrative roles. In addition to a strong scholarship profile, we are looking for an inspiring speaker who is passionate about teaching and learning and actively engaged in innovative approaches, especially around online and blended forms of learning. Approval from a professional body such as CILT or CIPS is desirable.

The position is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is located on a beautiful leafy campus near Windsor Great Park and a short commute from London, but you may need to undertake work in central London or abroad.
